Changing positions usually quickly relieves the uncomfortable feeling. Avoid positions that put significant pressure on just one area of the body.

When to seek immediate medical care

See a doctor immediately if:

  • Accompanied by weakness or loss of movement
  • Feeling doesn't go away or gets worse

Make an appointment to see a doctor if:

  • Frequent
