Pimples are red, tender bumps with white pus at their tips. They typically appear on the face, neck, chest, back, and shoulders. These areas of the skin have the largest number of functional oil glands. Overproduction of oil and a buildup of bacteria contribute to pimples.

Treatment can include topical creams or oral medications.
