Pubic lice

Overview

Pubic lice, or "crabs," are spread through sexual contact. They usually infest areas with coarser body hair, including the legs, chest, and eyelashes or eyebrows.

Symptoms

Symptoms mainly consist of intense itching in the genital region. The lice can usually be seen easily.

Treatments

Pubic lice are treated with certain medicated lotions or shampoos to kill both lice and their eggs.
