A condition that causes flushing and, often, small, red or pus-filled bumps on the face.

Overview

Rosacea is a common, long-term skin condition.

Symptoms

Rosacea causes flushing in the face. It also often produces small, red or pus-filled bumps. It most often affects middle-aged people with white skin. It can be mistaken for acne or other skin conditions.

Treatments

Treatment can help control and reduce symptoms. Even if your skin calms, the symptoms often return.
