Seroma
Overview
Seroma is a tumorlike accumulation (mass) of fluid under the skin. It may occur as a complication of surgery, beneath an incision site.
Symptoms
Symptoms may appear a few days later. They include swelling and pain. Fluid may leak from the incision.
Treatments
Treatments may include draining the fluid and antibiotics.
