Soft-tissue sarcoma

Overview

A soft tissue sarcoma is a type of cancerous tumor that originates in soft tissue. Soft tissues include muscle, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons, and joint linings. It mostly occurs in the digestive tract, limbs, and buttocks.

Symptoms

Symptoms include a lump and pain.

Treatments

Treatments may include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
