Sunburn is a type of skin burn from getting too much sun or other type of ultraviolet radiation, such as from sunlamps.
Symptoms
Symptoms include inflamed, painful skin that feels hot to the touch. Skin may also blister.
Treatment
Treatment includes pain relievers and soothing lotions or gels. Stay out of the sun while the sunburn heals.
