See a doctor immediately if:

  • Sudden, severe testicle pain
  • Redness or swelling of the testicle
  • Fever or chills
  • Blood in urine

When to make a doctor's appointment

Make an appointment to see a doctor if:

  • Mild pain lasting longer than a few days
  • Lump or swelling in or around a testicle
